State bank of India has invited applications to the post of Probationary Officer for graduates in any stream. The last date to apply for PO in SBI examination is 06- March -2017. State Bank of India (SBI) is the largest Government owned bank in India with more than 14,000 branches and has an asset of more than US$460 billion. It also [plays an important role in the capital and money market in India. The number of Probationary Officer (PO) vacancies reported in SBI is 2313 and out of these 2313 PO vacancies, SBI has reserved a fixed percent for SC/ST and OBC category candidates. Rest of the vacancies are in open category. General category candidates who had 4 previous attempts(PO) in written exams are not allowed to apply anymore. The maximum number of chances allowed for OBC category is 7 and the SC/ST category candidates have unlimited chances to apply for PO in SBI. SBI PO 2017 Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks. You will get 1 hour to complete SBI PO 2017 Prelim and it is an online test. Mark distribution in SBI PO 2017 Preliminary test and the exam syllabus is provided below.

- Main Examination
SBI PO 2017 main examination consists of Objective questions for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 50 marks. The objective test will have separate timing for every section. Candidates must be aware that there will be a sectional cut off marks. There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests.
