How to Apply For CBI Sub Inspector Post?


To become an Officer in CBI, you must pass the Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL ) conducted by Staff Selection Commission (SSC) every year.

SSC invites applications for the CGL examination every year, and you can apply on their official website.

It is a four-tier examination. The first two stages are online objective-type examinations.

The salary scale of a Sub Inspector in CBI is 9300 – 34800 Indian Rupees per month, and the CBI Inspector lies within the Grade Pay of 4200 Rupees.

The total in-hand salary per month is 44000 Indian Rupees.

You must appear for the SSC CGL examination to join the Central Bureau of Investigation. You have to follow the latest syllabus announced by the SSC.


Physical standards for the Post of CBI Sub Inspector


You should have the following physical eligibility (minimum height and weight, chest expansion, and eyesight).

Women and tribal candidates have some relaxation on minimum physical requirements.
